Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered travel platform Mindtrip is expanding to Europe.
Mindtrip announced that it has signed contracts with destination marketing organizations (DMOs) Madeira Promotion Bureau and Norwegian Travel Cluster. The company, a PhocusWire Hot 25 Travel Startup for 2025, was founded in 2023.
Andy Moss, founder and CEO of Mindtrip, said the conversational platform gives DMOs greater control over AI-driven discovery while also creating local business opportunities.
“With organic search declining, destinations across Europe are preparing for a world where AI increasingly shapes travel decisions and are turning to Mindtrip as the decision layer,” Moss said.
Mindtrip is embedded in a DMO’s website to assist in discovery for local attractions, restaurants and more. The company said the platform is designed to support the increasingly fluid ways travelers plan trips in the age of AI.
The European expansion follows a flurry of activity from the platform since its official launch in May 2024, after a $7 million raise in 2023.
Among its more recent milestones, Mindtrip raised $12 million in September 2024 alongside the launch of a group chat feature. In October 2024, the company raised additional funding and added a receipt tool, followed by the launch of a B2B solution the next month.
In March 2025 Mindtrip acquired Thatch, and in June 2025 it launched a mobile app. In December, Capital One Ventures and United Airlines Ventures invested in the company.
In February, Mindtrip launched an agentic AI experience with Sabre and PayPal.
